Greg Brien
Greg has 30 years experience in the Human Resource function with expertise in the areas of organisation development, learning and development and generalist human resource management. He has held senior positions within the oil and telecommunications industries and the public sector. As a consultant, trainer and coach he has completed assignments for a number of organisations including the NSW Department of Education and Training, Westfield Ltd., Multiplex Ltd. and FuturePlus Financial Services Pty. Ltd.

- He has designed and facilitated a number of leadership, team development, strategy development and culture change programs both locally and overseas.
- The delivery of effective OD systems, performance management systems, talent management processes and 360 degree feedback processes to support performance improvement and cultural change initiatives.

- Conducting executive level recruitment assignments.
- Being a member of the merger team for the successful Ampol/Caltex merger and working on the people issues associated with the merger.

Key achievements include:
- The facilitation of leadership development programmes for identified high potential people which achieved a retention rate of more than 3 years, in excess of 75% for program attendees.
- The management of the people issues associated with the successful merger of Ampol and Caltex. The development of tactics and strategies to spill and fill 1000 positions in the merged organisation while separating 800 people from the business and maintaining morale for those selected to remain in the “new” organisation. The development of processes to assist in the creation of a “new” culture to support the organisation vision.
